Rockies Ice Climbing and Avalanche Programs in Full Swing

Hi Everyone,
Its been a busy winter so far with our ice climbing and avalanche courses still being our most popular. That’s not hard to believe as the Rockies are home to the best ice climbing in Canada’s west. Our courses are filling up fast but you can also book a private trip for you or a group of friends to experience Rockies Ice.
Another fun way to experience ice climbing is the upcoming Knucklebasher Ice Climbing Festival taking place in Canmore Feb. 4-7. Yamnuska is running all of the clinics and it should be a busy weekend as it is also the Cross Country Skiing World Cup weekend at the Canmore Nordic Center. This is the last world cup event before the Olympics in Vancouver. You can sign up for knucklebasher clinics on our website under ice climbing.
